This year, we attended to the needs of children in two communities — Aso Pada and Ado Kasa in Nassarawa State — exceeding our target of 100 children per community with meals, school bags, learning resources, fees, P.E. wear and scholarships.

This year, we attended to the needs of children in two communities (Aso Pada and Ado Kasa) in Nassarawa State. Our target was to attend to 100 children per community but we exceeded that number eventually. A special appreciation to ALL donors who made this children’s day charity event a huge success. Indeed your empathy and kindness were beyond words. Thanks to your donation, we were able to achieve the following:
In Ado Kasa Community — Nassarawa State:
- Packed jollof rice with protein for 100 students
- School bags with packed school resources for 100 students
- Packed school resources for 50 students
- Payment of PTA Levy fee for 50 students
- Drinks for 100 students
- Payment of common entrance fees for 25 Year 6 students
- Payment of salaries to 10 teachers on the PTA support list
In Aso Pada Community — Nassarawa State:
- Packed jollof rice with protein for 100 students
- School bags with packed school resources for 100 students
- Packed school resources for 50 students
- Payment of PTA Levy fee for 50 students
- Drinks for 100 students
- Payment of common entrance fees for 25 Year 6 students
- Donation of P.E. wears to 15 students
- Payment of salaries to 10 teachers on the PTA support list
- Full education scholarship to 5 orphans up to secondary school
We appreciate all donors and friends of THF for partnering with us to ensure the success of children’s day celebration 2026. Indeed giving is never a show of riches but an act of empathy and kindness, even when you are dealing with your own issues of life.
Our hearts and prayers to God for the release of the captives in different parts of Nigeria. Especially the 46 students and their teachers who were kidnapped from school in Oyo State. We also pray for God to grant eternal rest to those who have been killed and as such could not celebrate children’s day.

Providing exercise books, textbooks, pens, school bags, and uniforms to children who cannot afford basic learning materials.
Back to School Project
Our Back to School Project ensures that no child has to choose between education and necessity. We provide exercise books, textbooks, pens, school bags, and uniforms to underprivileged children — the simple supplies that can transform whether a child shows up to learn.
Through this programme, we partner with public schools, LEA authorities, and rural communities to identify children most in need and equip them for a full academic year.

Essential supplies, financial encouragement, and community for widows in vulnerable rural communities — helping them rebuild dignity, livelihood, and hope.

The Widows Support Outreach provides essential supplies, financial encouragement, and community for widows in vulnerable rural communities. Beyond material support, we host gatherings where widows can share their journeys, access counselling, and receive practical guidance on small business development.

Community Health & Welfare
Our Community Health and Welfare programme works to reduce child mortality and improve the overall health of children and families in underserved communities. We support healthcare outreach initiatives, immunisation awareness campaigns, and nutrition programmes. Through partnerships with healthcare providers and community leaders, we organise health education sessions for parents on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Digital Skills for Rural Youth
Bridging the digital divide by introducing rural teenagers to computer literacy and creative software tools.
Digital Skills for Rural Youth
Our Digital Skills for Rural Youth programme bridges the digital divide for teenagers in underserved communities. In our pilot intervention at the Mabushi rural community, we hired 15 laptops and desktops to train 35 teenagers over a focused two-week curriculum. Participants are introduced to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CorelDraw, with AI literacy planned for upcoming cohorts.
